KRAPSI 2013: Aflah Ciptakan Rekor Baru 1500m

Shantou (CHN) and Hong Kong (HKG) close 10km World Cup
RENANG-Shantou (CHN) and Hong Kong (HKG) will close the 2013
FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup, with their respective races on September
29 and October 5. Before these last two events – this year’s season had eight
legs in three continents – the men’s overall ranking is led by Thomas Lurz,
from Germeny, with 72 points, while Romain Beraud (FRA, 52) and Allan do Carmo
(BRA, 48) are his most direct challengers.
Among women, Emily Brunemann (USA) is the provisional leader
with 86 points, but Ana Marcela Cunha (BRA) and Martina Grimaldi (ITA), both
with 66 points, are also strong contenders for the final victory.
JUNIOR WORLDS: DUBAI SETS STANDARD FOR THE FUTURE!
RENANG-The fourth edition of the FINA World Junior Swimming
Championships, held in Dubai (UAE) from August 26-31, 2013 produced an amazing
number of 47 Championships Records in a 42-event competition (giving an average
of more than one record per event). After the six-day meet, it was confirmed
that the 2013 edition was the most successful one (marked also by a new record
of participation). Many of the names that excelled in the Hamdan Sports Complex
will be the swimmers to watch in 2015, at the FINA World Championships in Kazan
(RUS), and of course at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (BRA). The
level of the organisation in Dubai
was also outstanding and set a valuable standard for the future editions of the
Championships – in 2015 in Singapore (SIN) and in 2017 in Budapest (HUN).
The medal table was topped by Australia ,
with 10 gold medals, ahead of Russia
and the US
team, both finishing with nine titles. The North American delegation won the
trophies of the team competitions in both the boys’ and the girls’ fields,
receiving the overall Championship Trophy.
Individually, Mackenzie Horton (AUS) won four individual
gold medals, getting all the titles from the men’s 200m to 1500m free. In the
women’s field, the most successful swimmer was Ruta Meilutyte, from Lithuania , who also left the United Arab Emirates
with four individual victories. Meilutyte, 2012 Olympic champion, and already a
world winner at senior level, dominated, as expected, in the breaststroke
events, but competed with success in new distances (gold medal in the 50m free,
for example).

Indonesia di Asian Youth Games (AYG) 2013 usai Ricky Anggawidjaja kembali
merebut medali perak di nomor 200 meter gaya punggung putra kemarin (21/8/13).
Berlomba di Natatorium Nanjing Olympic Stadium, Ricky
mencatatkan waktu tercepat kedua, dua menit 6.70 detik setelah perenang
Singapura Zheng Wen Quah yang menghasilkan waktu 2 menit 03.17 detik. Perunggu
07.76 detik.
Kepala Pelatih Renang tim Indonesia Hartadi Noertjojo

"Ït is not about the game. It is about the journey,"ungkap Sandiaga.
Fina World Championship 2013: Two gold for USA; Sun (CHN) and France also shine
AKUATIK INDONESIA ,
Yang Sun (CHN) and Katie Ledecky (USA) were the first heroes of the inaugural
day of the swimming competitions at the 15th FINA World Championships, taking
place in Barcelona (ESP). In the decisive race of the men’s 400m free, the
Chinese star clearly took control of the field, getting the gold in 3:41.59 -
an expected triumph for the 2012 Olympic champion in the 400m and 1500m free.
In the women’s final, Ledecky also won comfortably
(3:59.82), but everyone was expecting a better reaction from the Olympic
champion Camille Muffat - however, the French was not in her best shape and
only finished seventh in a modest time of 4:07.67. The home crowd could enjoy
the silver performance of local star Melanie Costa, and New Zealand got her first women’s
medal at Worlds thanks to the bronze effort of Lauren Boyle.
The most thrilling races happened with the relays’
confrontation: among women, USA
recovered the title lost in 2005 for Australia
(and then for the Netherlands ),
while among men the predictable win of the North Americans was denied by an
inspired quartet of France .
In semifinal action, the highlights go to the elimination of
WR holder in the 50m butterfly, Spain ’s
Rafa Munoz (ninth of the semis), and of the 2005 and 2007 champion Roland
Schoeman (RSA, 10th). In the women’s 100m butterfly, 2012 Olympic silver
medallist Ying Lu (CHN) will not swim the decisive race, after her 11th place
in the semis. Michael Jamieson (GBR), also second in London in the 200m
breaststroke, missed the cut for the 100m breaststroke (15th), while in the
morning heats, Brenton Rickard (AUS), the 2009 world champion, could not

2013 FINA and IPC World Championships.
Five-timeLondon
Olympic medallist Alicia Coutts will test her training and conditioning in a
total of nine events over the three days, six of which will see her go

“NSW States is traditionally the last chance for athletes to fine tune their racing skills before the Australian Swimming Championships, and for many aspiring for selection in Adelaide, this will be their first real hit out of 2013.”
“It’s always difficult to gauge where an athlete might be in their preparation for Trials, and what their times might actually mean, but in reality we’re looking for swimmers to be able to back up from heat swims and post faster times in finals, regardless of their overall program.”
“We’ve set the qualifying standards high forBarcelona this year, the equivalent of top
eight at the 2011 World Championships, so we’re looking for athletes to step up
and set those standards in the pool.”
In the men’s events, the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle races will be contested by 4x100m freestyle relay teammates from London James Magnussen, James Roberts, Tommaso D’Orsogna and Cameron McEvoy. And while it could be a four-way-face-off in each of the freestyle sprint events, Roberts, McEvoy and D’Orsogna will also line up against each other in the 100m butterfly.
2011 World Championship relay gold medallist Matthew Abood and younger brother Andrew will also step up to the blocks for the 50m and 100m freestyle events, while 2012 FINA World Cup champion Kenneth To will also add some experience to the freestyle events.
A host of Paralympians will also travel toSydney
for race practise in preparation for the 2013 IPC World Swimming Championships
in Montreal
this August.
Eight-time Paralympic gold medallist, Jacqueline Freney will be looking to continue her run of success but will have to overcome her Paralympic teammates and fellow multiple Paralympic medallists Ellie Cole and Maddison Elliott when they line up for the Multi Class 100m freestyle.
With over 850 competitors entered, including international athletes from Japan, China and France, this weekend is set to showcase some fast times and strong competition.

USA NEWS: REALITY SHOW STARRING RYAN LOCHTE TO DEBUT IN APRIL
![]() |
| Ryan Lochte |
Olympian to feature in six episodes on E! Entertainment
Channel in the U.S.
The show will air six episodes in April, according to an announcement made today by E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb at the Television Critics Association press tour. Lochte has been tight-lipped about the content of the show, but in a post announcing the show, E! said the show "will follow the self-proclaimed King of Gainesville, Fla. as he looks for love (and) hits the pool."
Most reality shows are filmed months in advance of their airdates, so the first episodes could focus on Lochte's exploits immediately after the Olympics, including his romp through
Journalists attending the TCA announcement were shown a sneak peek of the episode. Entertainment Weekly wrote that "Lochte came off more than a little dense. Sort of like a male Jessica Simpson (a swimbo?). 'I don't even know what is a douchebag,' the swimmer said when apparently asked about being called the term. 'I don't even know what it means.' "
The news of Lochte's reality show indicates that his former agent, Erika Wright, is a producer on the show. Lochte dropped Wright as his agent and signed with Creative Artists Agency in early December, and it is not clear if today's announcement means Wright and Lochte will continue to work together.
It is not known if the six episodes airing in April are the only episodes currently in production, or if "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" will return for a second season.
Juggling swimming with participating in a reality show has been a mixed bag so far for Lochte in the five months since the Olympics. While he did win two individual events at the short course world championships, setting world records in the individual medleys, he was beaten in the 200 backstroke. Lochte does remain serious about his swimming goals, as evidenced by the recent video of him training with the Air Force Elite Special Forces. (swimmingworld)
