Brazilians swam 23 blistering marks in 2011

The Brazilian swimmers conclude 2011 with 23 brilliant times. In all, 14 athletes and one relay team clocked times that would qualify them for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In the last event of 2011, an additional five swimmers got the marks: Graciele Herrmann in the 50 free, Joanna Maranhao in the 400 medley, Henrique Barbosa in the 100 and 200 breast, Joao Luiz Junior in the 100 breast and Nicolas Oliveira in the 100 free. In open water swimming, Brazilian star Poliana Okimoto has qualified to dispute the marathon swimming race in London too.
